As a dance artist, my work is rooted in curiosity, care, and structure. I approach choreography as a slow and methodical process, where each movement is carefully considered for both its form and its meaning. My vision is to create work that is thought-provoking, imaginative, and personal—pieces that invite audiences to connect emotionally while also questioning and discovering new perspectives. Dance, for me, is not only a form of expression but also a way of making sense of the world.
Currently, my research and artistic practice explore the intersections of science and movement, particularly through the lens of forensic investigation. I am fascinated by the procedural nature of forensics—collecting, examining, and reconstructing—and I translate these processes into the body through gesture, structure, and physical relationships. My goal is not simply to replicate science in dance, but to uncover how forensic logic can inspire a unique movement language that is both rigorous and imaginative. In this way, science becomes not just a backdrop, but a generative backbone of my choreographic process.
I value collaboration as a central part of my practice. Working with dancers as co-investigators allows me to expand the possibilities of how movement can embody ideas that may initially seem abstract or distant from the body. Through shared experimentation, my work grows into something larger than myself—something that reflects collective inquiry as well as individual expression.
The outcomes I strive for are layered: I want audiences to feel curiosity, to be intrigued by the process, and to leave with new understandings about how movement can reflect both human experience and societal systems. My hope is that viewers experience empathy and connection while also encountering “reality checks” that invite reflection on how structures—scientific, social, or personal—shape our lives.
Ultimately, my goal as a dance artist is to merge the imaginative with the informative, the emotional with the structured. Through thoughtful, serious, and beautiful work, I aim to create dances that act as both artistic expressions and investigations—spaces where movement becomes a tool for discovery
